Overview
As a White Goods engineer, you will service and repair a range of home appliances at customers’ homes, supporting a fast, first-time-fix Service Promise. You join a team of experienced engineers in a mission to make energy greener and more efficient. You’ll tackle varied technical challenges, collaborating with mentors and managers to ensure reliable, high-quality outcomes. This role offers meaningful impact through hands-on repair work and direct customer interaction.

Responsibilities
- Attend customer homes to repair and maintain white goods (dishwashers, washing machines, refrigerators, tumble dryers, microwaves)
- Diagnose defects and plan safe, effective fixes
- Strive for first-time fixes with quality workmanship
- Collaborate with managers and peers for support and continuous improvement
- Adhere to safety standards and quality practices
- Contribute to the Service Promise of same-day fixes
- Engage with customers to explain repairs and maintain service quality
Key requirements
- Extensive repair/maintenance experience with dishwashers, washing machines, refrigerators, tumble dryers, microwaves
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to diagnose defects and work safely to achieve first-time fixes
- Minimum 2 years on-the-job experience
- Full-time availability in assigned locations (Peterborough, Epsom, Croydon, London)
