Overview
In this Senior Legal Counsel role, you will provide commercially focused legal guidance across GetGround’s fast-growing business. You will handle contracts, regulatory matters, and product questions, ensuring legal risk is managed while supporting growth. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams and help scale the legal function with efficient processes. This is an opportunity to shape fintech-driven real estate solutions while maintaining high standards of integrity.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts (supplier, partnerships, customer terms)
- Advise on contractual risk and enable fast, informed business decisions
- Maintain and improve contract templates, playbooks, and standard terms
- Coordinate with external counsel on specialist matters
- Provide legal input on product features and platform changes
- Advise on FCA regulatory requirements for fintech products/services
- Support compliance reviews of customer-facing content and regulated communications
- Track regulatory developments and flag implications for the business
- Support corporate matters including fundraising, governance, and company secretarial work
- Advise on data protection and GDPR compliance
- General legal support across employment, IP, and operations; build scalable processes and training materials
Key requirements
- UK qualified solicitor
- around 4+ years PQE
- strong commercial legal skills with fast-paced contracting experience
- understanding of FCA regulation applicable to fintech/financial services
- curiosity and ability to learn new areas quickly

- autonomous work style with good workload management
