Overview
As Project Design Engineer – Electrical you will guide the design and delivery of water and wastewater facilities within a multidisciplinary, design‑and‑build environment. You’ll lead electrical design from outline to detailed design, collaborating with civil, mechanical, process teams and clients to meet schedule, budget and quality. The role supports chartership development and cross‑disciplinary expertise, with flexible work options and opportunities to see designs come to life.

Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design from outline to detailed design through construction and handover
- Coordinate the project team (civil, electrical, mechanical, process designers, BIM modelers, specialists) to meet programme, budget, and quality
- Mentor less experienced colleagues and contribute to a collaborative learning culture
- Build and maintain positive client relationships and promote a one-team approach
- Work within a project triangle with Site Manager and Quantity Surveyor to balance technical, constructability and commercial goals
Key requirements
- Accredited Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Incorporated Member of Engineering Institution
- Outline and detailed design experience of water or wastewater projects
- Knowledge of Designer or Principal Designer duties under CDM 2015
