Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Overview

In this Engineering role at Cytiva, you will strengthen manufacturing capability and lead continuous improvement to deliver reliable production and regulatory compliance. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to upskill the technical workforce, reduce waste, and implement robust processes. The position focuses on safety, quality, and Right First Time performance while driving efficiency and cost reductions. This is a hands-on opportunity to influence manufacturing outcomes at scale in a life sciences context.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain skills matrix and upskill team capabilities
• Drive manufacturing performance via root-cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions; lead TPM, SMED and DBS initiatives
• Provide technical leadership for processes, equipment, validation, change control, and pFMEA with regulatory compliance
• Lead cost and waste reduction programs through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and Right First Time; support new equipment implementation and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations

Key requirements

• Degree qualified engineer or equivalent experience
• Experience in manufacturing environment with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, TPM, OEE, SPC and Six Sigma
• Strong leadership and ability to influence cross-functional teams
• Data-driven decision maker with problem-solving skills; capable of prioritizing and implementing change in regulated industries
• Proficiency with manufacturing technologies, automation, PLC/HMI systems, and relevant IT tools
