Risk Control Testing Analyst -AVP

Overview

In this role, you will plan, execute and report on control testing for Citi’s Markets Trading and Sales activities, supporting the 1LOD Markets Controls Testing team. You will challenge control design and effectiveness, help identify remediation, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across Front Office and risk/compliance functions. You’ll produce concise, impactful summaries of testing outcomes while upholding high standards for documentation. Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report control testing for Markets Trading and Sales
• Perform controls design and operating effectiveness testing to agreed timelines; escalate blockers
• Maintain high standards for testing execution and documentation
• Challenge stakeholders on control design and effectiveness
• Support remediation efforts identified through testing
• Maintain relationships across Front Office, Markets Conduct Risk, Compliance and Operational Risk
• Draft impactful summary outputs of the testing programme

Key requirements

• Relevant experience in Front Office controls testing, internal/external audit, or independent control reviews
• Knowledge of Markets Sales and Trading activities, risks and related controls
• Strong understanding of control design assessment and testing techniques
• Experience developing and maintaining senior stakeholder relationships
