Contracts Manager (OHL)

Overview

As OHL Contracts Manager you will oversee contracts for overhead line work within power distribution networks. You will work closely with stakeholders, including DNOs, to ensure safe, compliant and high-quality project delivery. You will lead on-site teams, manage timelines and budgets, and provide progress reporting to senior management. Responsibilities

• Managing and overseeing OHLE contracts for power distribution networks
• Ensuring projects meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards
• Coordinating with stakeholders including DNOs for project execution
• Supervising on-site activities and leading site teams
• Monitoring timelines and budgets to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery
• Preparing and presenting project progress reports to senior management
• Identifying and mitigating risks in overhead line projects
• Maintaining strong client relationships to foster future opportunities

Key requirements

• Experience managing overhead line (OHL) projects in the power utilities sector
• Knowledge of working with DNOs and their requirements
• Expertise in overhead line systems, specifically LV and 33kV
• Strong project management capabilities and ability to manage multiple projects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team liaison
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• A relevant qualification in electrical engineering or a related discipline
