Overview
In this role you will design, validate and deliver RF/ Microwave circuitry for airborne radar systems. You will work within a diverse engineering team supporting hardware and system-level integration for complex platforms. You’ll tackle high-frequency design challenges, document deliverables, and maintain configuration control, while mentoring junior engineers. This position offers the chance to shape cutting-edge radar technology for Fortune 500 customers and contribute to a high-performance engineering culture.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality RF/ Microwave circuit designs
- Document and record engineering deliverables
- Support hardware and system-level integration and verification
- Maintain designs under configuration control
- Provide progress reports on milestones
- Supervise less experienced RF/Microwave engineers on the project

- Microwave PCB materials & design techniques
- Microwave Sub-System design
- Microwave power amplifier design & technology
- Design of complex microwave switch matrix
- Application of microwave GaAs/ GaN MMICs
- Design of complex passive microwave structures
- S-parameter manipulation
- EM 3D and 2D simulation techniques
- Non-linear circuit simulation and modelling
- Matching network design
- Microwave component selection
- Understanding of Radar/RF Systems (frequency synthesizer, receiver architectures)
- General RF/Microwave PCB-level design with COTS components
- Proficient in RF/Microwave design tools: AWR Microwave Office, CST Microwave Studio, Keysight ADS, or AWR Visual System Simulator
