Cyber Resilience Analyst

Overview

In this role you will strengthen the organisation’s resilience by embedding recovery and continuity capabilities. You will work with technical and operational teams to improve readiness for disruptive cyber events and guide how resilience is built into technology and change initiatives. You will assess services for impact and recovery priority, support incident debriefs, and identify improvements to existing controls. The role offers hybrid working near Chester and a chance to influence security governance at scale.

Responsibilities

• Assess critical services and determine business impact and recovery priorities
• Support structured incident debriefs and post-incident learning
• Highlight areas for improvement within existing resilience controls
• Ensure resilience considerations are embedded in technology and change initiatives
• Partner with technical teams and operational stakeholders to raise readiness across the organisation
• Document and report on resilience status and improvement plans

Key requirements

• Experience in Cyber Resilience (Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery or Incident Response)
• Ability to manage detailed plans and work across complex environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability
• Good understanding of enterprise IT systems and infrastructure
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
