Overview

In this role you will lead structural design for water infrastructure projects, guiding a multi-disciplinary team and delivering robust solutions for complex challenges. Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee detailed structural design for a range of water infrastructure projects
  • Develop robust structural solutions and supervise work of junior engineers
  • Coordinate with other design disciplines and manage client/stakeholder communications
  • Challenge conventional approaches and implement innovative ideas for value delivery
  • Prepare and review high-quality drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports
  • Ensure quality and compliance through sign-off of project deliverables
  • Mentor team members and support their professional development

Key requirements

  • Degree in civil and structural engineering; professional membership or pursuing ICE or IStructE
  • Experience delivering robust structural solutions in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Experience in structural design to appropriate standards and specifications
  • Strong collaboration and coordination skills with teams, clients and stakeholders
