Overview
In this role you will join a well-established Nottingham-based contractor’s commercial team, taking shared ownership of project finances with 4-5+ years of QS experience. You will apply strong commercial and contractual knowledge across a varied project portfolio, supporting project teams and driving commercial outcomes. Responsibilities
- Manage projects from a commercial perspective
- Prepare and negotiate valuations, variations and final accounts
- Liaise with subcontractors and internal teams to secure commercial outcomes
- Apply strong contractual and commercial knowledge to project delivery
- Provide proactive commercial support to project teams
Key requirements
- 4-5+ years’ QS experience
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Experience managing projects from a commercial perspective
- Experience with subcontractors, valuations, variations and final accounts
- Proactive approach and ability to work with project teams
- Piling or geotechnical experience would be a bonus
