Technical Account Manager

Overview

In this role, you will lead planning, architecture, and coordination of professional services engagements for Veeam solutions. You will act as a technical advisor, shaping availability, data protection, and monitoring architectures across on-premises, cloud, and data center environments. You’ll partner with clients and cross‑functional teams to design, implement, and optimize solutions while delivering knowledge transfer and guidance. This position offers the chance to influence customer outcomes at scale and contribute to Veeam’s mission of secure, resilient data and AI readiness.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to proposals and Statements of Work
• Support delivery, design, and deliverables of Veeam solutions
• Provide project guidance (plans, schedules, communications, resources, status)
• Assist with solution assessment and design and post-installation issues
• Estimate effort for solution implementation
• Produce white papers, guides, and best practices
• Deliver onsite knowledge transfer on Veeam solutions
• Document configurations and completed activities
• Analyze environments to optimize Veeam configurations
• Facilitate client–support communication
• Identify additional needs for Veeam solutions
• Suggest process and documentation improvements
• Overnight travel ~50%

Key requirements

• VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE or equivalent experience
• Prince2, ITIL, PMP or equivalent experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in technology
• Hands-on experience with Veeam core products
• Proven consulting and project management experience
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Significant experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Experience with storage systems (Nimble, Nexsan, Actifio, Veeam)
• Networking with Fibre Channel, Ethernet; cloud services
• Experience with enterprise apps (Exchange, SQL, Oracle)
• Experience with Data Management, Data Protection, Data Analytics
• Extensive experience with Data Center, Business Continuity and OS
• Experience managing multiple projects/accounts
• Working knowledge of Cloud technologies
