Overview
In this role you will lead multi-discipline projects within the Asset Operations and Maintenance division to deliver repair, replacement, design, and installation of water and plant systems. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to scope, survey, plan, and document projects, ensuring design and construction quality and timely delivery. You’ll manage trades and apprentices, interpret drawings, and drive conformance and documentation from enquiry to final handover. This position offers the chance to shape modular, low-carbon solutions for a wide range of UK clients while advancing your leadership and technical skills.

Responsibilities
- Project liaison from enquiry to final acceptance and documentation
- Client meetings and site surveys
- Directing and allocating work to Trade Operatives & Apprentices with focus on quality, productivity, and safety
- Ensuring availability of technical information for design/construction
- Interpreting drawings, specifications, and schedules; directing works and final documentation (As Built Drawings)
- Early identification and resolution of non-conformances in design and construction
- Managing design of systems to align with specifications and technical aspects
- Procurement of goods and services
- Preparation of estimates and quotations
- Completion of contract documents
Key requirements
- Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Proven track record in Project Management with engineering or supervisory background
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to interpret technical instructions
- Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil trades
- Self-motivated and able to work individually or in teams under leadership
- Innovative thinking with ability to learn and apply new technologies
- Ability to prioritize and perform under pressure
