Overview
In this role, you join EY’s Tier 1 corporate law team in Belfast to support sophisticated UK and international deals. You will work with cross-functional colleagues and external advisers to deliver high-quality corporate advice for large, well-known clients. The role combines governance, structuring, and due diligence across jurisdictions, with an emphasis on practical problem-solving and timely delivery. Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate advice and documentation from advisers in multiple jurisdictions
- Conduct and oversee due diligence projects, including international aspects
- Support deal-related structuring (carve-outs, post-deal integration) and governance matters
- Advise on UK company law issues such as share capital, distributions, fiduciary duties, and intra-group transactions
- Manage time-sensitive work and collaborate with lawyers and non-lawyers across teams
Key requirements
- English law-qualified corporate solicitor
- 2–8 years PQE, including UK private practice experience
- Strong technical, research, and drafting skills
- Good eye for detail and problem-solving mindset
