Overview
In this role you will oversee BMS and digital service delivery across a portfolio of hospitals, schools, and government buildings. You will lead a team of engineers and partners to ensure high-quality service, meet SLAs, and drive contract performance and growth. You will engage with customers and senior stakeholders to review performance, opportunities, and compliance while supporting the company’s strategic goals. This position offers exposure to large-scale BMS operations, cross-site coordination, and shaping service delivery in a growing digital energy business.

Responsibilities
- Oversee digital service provision across all sites in the portfolio
- Direct day-to-day management of BMS engineers and service partners (~15-20 people) and subcontractors
- Conduct regular contract reviews with customers and senior clients, identifying upsell opportunities
- Monitor and drive contract KPIs and SLAs, ensuring compliance and quality
- Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and contractual standards
- Engage stakeholders and manage PM/OPL responsibilities for £1–3m portfolios
- Travel to sites for service reviews, safety visits, and team meetings
- Plan tasks to balance work types and maintain attendance SLAs
- Ensure training and operational quality standards are met
- Manage financial processes and budgeting, plus SET and team objectives aligned to strategic goals
- Actively pursue new growth opportunities and secure new contracts
Key requirements
- Degree level education, or, qualified and experienced electrotechnical trade
- Relevant work experience at a similar level
- Ability to obtain and retain SC/CTC clearance
- Experience managing self-delivered and subcontracted BMS services at large scale
- Strong knowledge of BMS systems (e.g., Trend, Tridium, Siemens) and HVAC/M&E
- Experience across varied contract environments
- P&L responsibility with track record of commercial success
- Strong client focus and clear, concise communication
- Commercial acumen and KPI delivery experience
- Ability to collaborate across teams and with clients to optimise service levels
