Operations Manager, DNR1

Overview

You will lead a team of Area Managers at an Amazon Logistics site to drive operational excellence. You’ll oversee shift operations, tackle issues, and push improvements in safety, quality, and productivity. You’ll partner with HR, Finance, Safety and Security to design initiatives that lift site performance and prepare for demand shifts. You’ll mentor your managers, influence cross-functional teams, and help scale delivery operations for new concepts. This role blends hands-on leadership with strategic improvement to shape the Amazon of tomorrow.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of Area Managers
• Lead operational teams on a shift, address issues, and improve site performance
• Analyze shift performance against business objectives and implement actions for excellence
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security
• Design and deliver site-wide initiatives to boost operational performance
• Act as the main link between multiple teams including finance, safety, and operations integration
• Mentor and coach the team to develop capable managers

Key requirements

• Experience using data to influence business decisions
• English fluency (C1 or above)
• People management and stakeholder management experience
• Bachelor’s degree, or Master’s degree
• Experience in transportation or supply chain in high-volume logistics, manufacturing, or engineering
