Overview

In this role you own the Modular Test product segment, driving its strategy, commercial performance and lifecycle management. You will work within a cross-functional, global team to deliver growth in sales, margin and market share, while shaping supplier relations and portfolio decisions. You’ll partner with Sales, Marketing, eCommerce and Operations to execute campaigns and ensure optimal product positioning. This is a hybrid Leeds-based role with global scope across EMEA and APAC, offering autonomy and exposure to leading manufacturers. You will play a critical part in transforming the Modular Test portfolio and shaping its future.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the product segment strategy to achieve sales, margin, inventory and market share targets
  • Manage the product portfolio lifecycle including new technology introductions, range expansion and end-of-life planning
  • Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships to drive growth and opportunities
  • Lead supplier reviews and implement joint business development plans
  • Negotiate and manage commercial and contractual supplier agreements
  • Own product pricing strategies to support growth and profitability
  • Manage inventory performance including stock investment, turns, line fill and excess stock reduction
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, eCommerce and Operations to execute product strategies and campaigns
  • Provide market intelligence on technology trends, supplier performance and customer demand
  • Support sales enablement with product training and strategy communications
  • Maintain product data and ensure optimal commercial positioning
  • Resolve customer and supplier issues with stakeholders across regions and time zones
  • Support marketing activities through collaboration with suppliers and commercial teams

Key requirements

  • Experience in product management, category management, supplier management or similar commercially focused roles
  • Experience in electronics, technology, industrial distribution, engineering or manufacturing environments
  • Proven track record of delivering sales growth, margin improvement and business performance
  • Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
  • Experience developing and executing strategic business plans
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong commercial awareness including pricing, profitability and inventory management
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across functions and levels
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
