Business Partner Finance

Overview

In this role you will partner with business units to deliver real-time financial insight and guidance that supports decision-making. You lead budgeting, forecasting and in-year management, ensuring plans align with priorities. You translate financial data into actionable analysis for leaders and teams, support business cases with robust modelling, and oversee project accounting with strong governance. You’ll identify risks and opportunities, drive performance improvements and contribute to enhanced management reporting and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business units to provide real-time financial insight, challenge and guidance for decision-making
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and in-year financial management, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities
• Translate financial data into clear, actionable analysis for senior leaders and operational teams
• Support business cases and project costing through modelling and scenario analysis
• Oversee project accounting, ensuring accurate cost tracking and strong financial governance
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, driving actions to improve performance
• Enhance management reporting and contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes
• Provide first-line support on finance systems and respond to finance-related queries across the organisation
