Contracts Manager (Housebuilder) | 80,000 – 90,000 + package | Permanent | Oxfordshire

Overview

As Contracts Manager for a prestigious regional housebuilder, you will oversee multiple residential projects from Oxford offices. You will lead site teams and integrate design, construction and commercial activities to deliver quality homes on time and within budget. You’ll drive proactive problem-solving, transparent reporting, and collaboration across design, procurement and planning. This role offers impact through managing a varied pipeline and shaping delivery across private and public residential schemes.

Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 8 concurrent residential projects across the region
• Lead site teams and coordinate across design, construction and commercial activities
• Demonstrate a positive leadership style and foster productivity
• Understand and oversee design, procurement, planning, programming and progress reporting
• Report openly, analyse issues and implement solutions
• Supervise Project Managers, Site Managers, contractors and internal staff

Key requirements

• Strong track record of managing multiple residential schemes concurrently
• Main contracting / new build residential background
• Experience delivering private and public residential developments
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and to budget
