Director – Category Manager EXM – Oral Solid Dose (OSD) 1

Overview

As Director – Category Manager EXM-OOSD, you will lead the category strategy for Externally Manufactured OSD, partnering with Strategic Sourcing, External Manufacturing, and Quality to deliver long-term value. You own category strategies, roadmaps, and supplier relationships to optimize cost and ensure supply continuity. You’ll influence cross-functional stakeholders and help build category capability within a regulated pharma environment. Responsibilities

• Own assigned OSD categories/product technologies and serve as Teva’s category SME
• Develop and execute strategies aligned with business needs and manufacturing priorities
• Deliver 3-5 year savings and improvement roadmaps
• Support demand planning, capacity assessments, sourcing roadmaps, and P&L optimization
• Partner with Strategic Sourcing on RFx, negotiations, contracts, and supplier selection
• Provide expertise on negotiations, awards, and contract implementation
• Define supplier management strategies for key OSD suppliers
• Guide supplier performance management, issue resolution, and continuous improvement
• Maintain market intelligence and identify strategic supplier opportunities
• Partner with External Manufacturing, Technical Operations, and key business functions
• Communicate plans, risks, opportunities, and trade-offs; influence decisions
• Influence outcomes of Business Development through category and supplier expertise
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and deep business understanding to shape priorities
• Drive cost optimization, sourcing improvements, and supplier value initiatives
• Track, report, and communicate performance and value delivery
• Deliver multi-year savings targets in partnership with Finance
• Enhance reporting transparency and consistency
• Expert level knowledge of OSD markets, supplier capabilities, capacity trends, and regulations
• Use market intelligence to inform sourcing and strategy
• Strengthen supplier relationships and position Teva as a customer of choice
• Promote category management tools, standards, and best practices
• Improve consistency, discipline, and efficiency across activities
• Identify process improvements across planning, supplier management, and execution
• Mentor team members and strengthen OSD category capabilities

Key requirements

• Experience in Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, or Procurement within pharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing, or other regulated industries
• Experience managing External Manufacturing (EXM), CMO/CDMO partnerships, or strategic supplier relationships
• Experience leading sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, supplier engagement, and cross-functional projects
• Strong understanding of Oral Solid Dose (OSD) manufacturing, contract manufacturing, or pharmaceutical production networks is highly desirable
• Pharmaceutical experience is advantageous; candidates from adjacent regulated industries are encouraged to apply
