Overview

In this role you will support the delivery of commissioning activities on a flagship nuclear project, working closely with the Project Manager and a multidisciplinary delivery team. You help plan, scope, and control packages to meet safety, quality, and schedule targets within a highly regulated environment. The position offers exposure to stakeholder management, governance, and project controls, contributing to a national infrastructure programme. Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day project delivery activities
  • Assist in safe, efficient, and timely delivery of commissioning programmes
  • Manage smaller projects and work packages from inception to completion
  • Define project scope, objectives, and interfaces with programme teams
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, plans, and governance records
  • Support development and implementation of project execution strategies
  • Monitor progress against milestones, budgets, and schedules
  • Produce project reports and stakeholder updates
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and opportunities
  • Coordinate and facilitate project meetings and progress reviews
  • Review technical documentation, contractor submissions, and drawings
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, safety, environmental, and quality requirements
  • Build strong working relationships with internal teams, contractors, and client stakeholders

Key requirements

  • Degree qualification or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
