Overview

In this role you help clients build cyber resilience by blending security expertise with industry insight. You will oversee security activities for clients in Retail, Consumer Goods, Industrials and Life Sciences, bridging client teams and security domain experts. You lead security workstreams, assess risks and maturity, and deliver high‑quality outputs while embedding security into solutions. You’ll stay ahead of threats and regulatory changes, contribute to sales pursuits, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams in a London-based hybrid setting.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct cybersecurity strategy assessments, maturity and readiness evaluations and discovery workshops
  • Lead security workstreams and manage delivery quality, dependencies and outcomes
  • Analyze risks, identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations aligned with standards
  • Create deliverables such as threat/risk assessments, policies, and compliance evidence
  • Embed security controls into technology solutions from design to operation
  • Support design and implementation of tailored cybersecurity solutions
  • Stay current on emerging threats, AI-driven security solutions, and regulatory developments
  • Contribute to sales pursuits, proposals and commercial responses
  • Develop industry-specific knowledge to define and run security solutions
  • Build expertise across a range of tools, technologies and methodologies across Security offerings

Key requirements

  • 3–5 years of work experience in Cyber Security
  • Proven consultancy experience or experience in large organizations
  • Experience in one of: GRC, IAM, Cloud Security, Application Security, OT security, Security Operations
  • Familiarity with at least one recognised security framework
  • Experience delivering cybersecurity assessments or security initiatives or technical implementations
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams across security, technology and business functions
  • Experience producing client-facing deliverables, reports, and recommendations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with evidence-based security recommendations
  • High attention to detail and rigorous logical thinking
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for engaging stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel across the UK
  • Professional certifications: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP or equivalent
  • Experience in Retail, Consumer Goods, Industrials or Life Sciences (preferred)
  • Commercial awareness and understanding how cybersecurity supports business outcomes
