Overview
As Sales Director – Enterprise, you lead regional enterprise sales across a portfolio of strategic accounts, driving revenue and multi-year growth. You align cross-functional teams to execute sophisticated, value-based motions and engage C-suite leaders, positioning NetApp as a trusted platform partner for data, cloud, and digital transformation. You provide executive leadership and coaching to a high-performing team, shaping large-scale deals and transformation initiatives. This role offers impact at scale within a matrixed GTM.
Responsibilities
- Own regional enterprise revenue, pipeline, and growth targets with predictable execution
- Develop and execute region-wide enterprise account strategies balancing near-term results with long-term transformation
- Build trusted executive relationships with CIO/CTO/CDO/CISO and senior business leaders
- Sponsor and lead the region’s largest, most complex opportunities with disciplined qualification, governance and forecasting
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Enterprise Client Executives with clear account planning and value-based selling
- Drive strategic partner engagement with systems integrators, cloud providers, and technology partners
- Champion enterprise sales transformation through AI-enabled selling and data-driven decision-making
Key requirements
- Proven experience leading enterprise sales teams with multi-year, high-value engagements
- Track record of exceeding revenue targets in technology, cloud, or enterprise software
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence C-suite stakeholders
- Structured leadership capable of coordinating multiple sales motions in a matrixed organization
- Business and financial acumen with credibility in data management, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA or advanced degree preferred
