Senior Electrical Engineer – Commercial – London

Overview

In this role you will lead the electrical design and coordination for a major commercial build in Central London. You will drive design through commissioning, ensuring compliance with UK regs and client specifications, while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will manage on-site electrical subcontractors, monitor programme, quality and safety, and support testing and handover. This is a client-facing role that emphasizes technical leadership and on-site delivery within large-scale projects. Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical design and coordination from design to commissioning
• Supervise subcontractor activities on-site, ensuring schedule, quality, and safety
• Serve as main electrical liaison with clients and consultants, attending site meetings and reviews
• Prepare and review electrical drawings, submittals, method statements, and progress reports
• Lead testing, commissioning and handover activities with the commissioning team

Key requirements

• Electrical Engineering Degree level qualification
• 8+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects
• UK Passport or right to work in the UK
