In this role you will lead and coordinate transformational capital programmes within real estate and construction sectors, partnering with cross‑functional teams to deliver client outcomes and realising benefits. You’ll apply established programme management practices across lifecycle, balancing strategic goals with day‑to‑day delivery. The position offers exposure to varied sectors (government, health, education, life sciences, data centres, defence) and the chance to influence programme governance, risk, and stakeholder engagement at scale. Responsibilities
- Manage delivery of small to medium real estate programmes or contribute to large transformations through ownership of assigned functions/elements
- Set up and guide the programme direction, empowering teams to achieve success
- Apply best practice governance, controls, logs, performance reporting and secretariat duties
- Support stakeholder engagement through registers and communication plans
- Oversee programme‑level financial management processes and reporting
- Understand and implement governance and risk management, safeguarding health and safety
- Contribute to internal culture and One Business values, promoting collaboration and learning
Key requirements
- Experience in programme management with demonstrated client outcomes
- Project delivery background with progression to programme management in real estate/construction
- Accreditation or knowledge of programme management methodologies (ideally in Real Estate)
- Awareness of construction delivery models, procurement routes and contracts (NEC, JCT)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and governance capabilities
- Analytical, commercial acumen and comfortable with data, dashboards and reporting systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and programme management tools, with a proactive approach to digital tools including AI
- Degree or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (desirable)
