IT Programme Delivery Lead

Overview

In this role you will lead the technical delivery of CNA Hardy’s Transformation programme from London, ensuring robust, aligned solutions that fit the technology strategy. You will manage technical leads and architects, oversee governance and risk, and coordinate cross-project dependencies to deliver meaningful impact. Responsibilities

• Own technical delivery across Transformation projects, ensuring alignment with plans, budgets and outcomes
• Provide technical leadership to Project Technical Leads and Solution Architects
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and long-term operational needs
• Coordinate dependencies across projects including environments and shared services
• Oversee testing, release, and transition to business-as-usual with documentation and resilience
• Manage governance, change control, and service transition

Key requirements

• Five+ years in leading complex technical delivery across multi-disciplinary teams
• Proven experience managing technical teams or functions including senior specialists and third-party providers
• Strong judgement balancing delivery pace, quality, risk and long-term supportability
• Solid knowledge of programme governance, change control, release management and service transition
• Experience in insurance, financial services or regulated sector is advantageous
