Overview

As a Site Manager at a leading UK contractor, you will help deliver a high-profile 90m government project in Renfrew. You will work closely with the Senior Site Manager and Project Manager to manage a section of works, drive safe and on-program delivery, and uphold high quality. You’ll coordinate subcontractors, maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, and support short-term planning and programme management. Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day site operations within your designated work area
  • Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works progress to programme
  • Maintaining excellent health & safety standards on site
  • Monitoring quality and ensuring compliance with project specifications
  • Conducting site inspections and toolbox talks
  • Assisting with short-term planning and programme management
  • Building strong relationships with the client team and key stakeholders
  • Supporting project delivery through to successful completion

Key requirements

  • Previous experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor
  • Proven track record delivering new-build construction projects
  • Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and site management procedures
  • Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trade packages
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications
  • Security clearance eligibility would be advantageous
