Overview
In this role you will support the UK Energy & Natural Resources business as a Cost Manager, overseeing cost control across client and internal projects. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to monitor budgets, forecast costs, and manage contract changes to deliver on programme objectives. You’ll drive value engineering and ensure governance while building strong client and team relationships. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain client relationships and professional communications
- Administer contracts per project objectives and policies
- Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting to budget
- Monitor cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring timely applications
- Collaborate with client and contractor teams on deliverables, KPIs, and value engineering
- Manage contract change to stay within governance and best practice
- Improve forecast and budget accuracy
- Provide commercial support to stakeholders and negotiate final accounts
- Lead people and commissions as needed
