Overview
In this role, you contribute to pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying and Cost & Commercial Management across diverse projects. You will work with the PMCM team to deliver estimating, cost planning, procurement, and financial control for Building and Infrastructure work. Depending on seniority, you may lead projects, mentor staff, and engage in business development and client representation. The position offers hybrid working, international exposure, and opportunities to shape major programmes within a global firm.

Responsibilities
- Perform QS/Cost and Commercial activities across project lifecycles
- Estimate, cost plan, procure, and manage post-contract financials
- Lead or contribute to QS/commercial projects and teams
- Bid writing, winning work, and client/institution representation (where applicable)
- Mentor staff and support training and development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Utilise specialist software for cost management
- Support delivery on public and private sector projects
Key requirements
- MRICS or Assoc RICS or working towards professional qualification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge and experience in QS/Cost and Commercial competencies
- Experience in leadership or delivery at senior level (where applicable)
- Willingness to travel to site, client offices, and other locations
- Degree or higher education qualification (holding a degree is noted as desirable)
- Familiarity with NEC Contracts and other contract forms
- Experience in water, energy, environment, infrastructure or transportation sectors (desirable)
