Overview
As Head of Conveyancing, you will lead a busy conveyancing function within a well-established law practice. You drive quality, compliance and client care across residential and commercial matters, shaping the team culture and performance. You will ensure efficient, transparent file progression and uphold accreditation and lender-panel standards. This is a strategic leadership role with a focus on process improvement, stakeholder relationships and brand-building through thought leadership.

Responsibilities
- Set direction and oversee a team of conveyancing professionals, fostering a high-performance culture
- Uphold outstanding client service and ensure files progress efficiently and transparently
- Drive quality assurance across all transactions and embed best practices
- Own regulatory compliance, maintaining accreditation standards and lender-panel processes
- Produce clear performance reporting for senior stakeholders and refine processes
- Develop relationships with referrers and stakeholders; collaborate with marketing to raise the team’s profile through insights and thought leadership
Key requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years of experience in residential and commercial conveyancing
- Proven track record of 3 years supervising and motivating conveyancing teams
- Comprehensive understanding of property law, procedures and end-to-end file management
- Confident with compliance frameworks, accreditation maintenance and lender-panel processes
- Exceptional organisation and time management; able to prioritise competing deadlines
