Overview
In this role you will deliver a balanced mix of asbestos surveying and analytical duties across client sites in Birmingham and the Midlands. You will work within an experienced team to ensure high-quality, compliant services aligned with current legislation and industry standards. The role combines field surveys, air monitoring, and reporting to support safe, compliant asset management. Responsibilities
- Carry out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys
- Undertake air monitoring, including 4-stage clearances and reoccupation certification
- Conduct bulk sampling and ensure compliance with procedures
- Produce accurate reports in line with HSG264 and HSG248 guidance
- Manage workloads across multiple client sites
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality assurance
Key requirements
- BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience in a dual Surveyor / Analyst role
- Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and industry compliance requirements
