Structural Engineer

Overview

In this role you will deliver structural design across residential, modular, commercial, and CLT projects, applying a broad material skillset and BIM awareness. You will collaborate with a small team, manage your workload, and foster strong client relations, with the opportunity to progress toward Associate as the company grows. You will also visit sites to provide on‑the‑ground engineering support and see projects through to construction. Flexible remote working and a supportive environment are offered, with potential to advance as the business expands.

Responsibilities

• Manage own workload and contribute to multiple projects
• Design across steel, concrete, masonry and timber structures
• Apply BIM concepts and use structural engineering software
• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Provide site visits and on‑site technical support
• Collaborate within a team and contribute to project delivery
• Support professional development and progression toward Chartered status if applicable

Key requirements

• 5+ years industry experience
• Proficient in design of steel, concrete, masonry and timber
• Appreciation for BIM and ability to use structural engineering software
• Chartered via IStructE/ICE preferred or close to chartered with company support
• Willingness to visit sites and engage with clients
