Overview
As a Securitisation Lawyer within the Securities & Asset Management Legal team, you structure, negotiate and advise on securitisation deals across asset classes. You will collaborate with Global Markets, Risk, Compliance and Legal & Secretariat to align legal risk with commercial aims. The role offers exposure to innovative capital markets solutions and ESG-related products, with growth supported by a people-centric culture. You will contribute to the Accelerate 2030 strategy by driving safe, sustainable growth and better client outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality legal advice on securitisation transactions from structuring to post-closing
- Advise on transactions across asset classes (mortgages, credit cards, auto loans, trade receivables) and manage legal/regulatory risks
- Negotiate complex transaction documentation with internal and external stakeholders
- Support development of innovative funding and capital markets solutions aligned to commercial objectives
- Build trusted relationships across Global Markets, Risk, Compliance and Legal & Secretariat
- Monitor regulatory developments affecting securitisation and provide impact assessments
- Contribute to wider Legal & Secretariat initiatives for risk management, efficiency and knowledge sharing
Key requirements
- Legally qualified with a current practising certificate in a relevant jurisdiction
- Post-qualification experience in securitisation or transferable finance/capital markets expertise
- Ability to analyse deal structures and provide commercial legal advice
- Growth mindset and willingness to learn broader debt capital markets products
- Strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills
- Ability to work both independently and in teams
