Overview
In this role you will drive the delivery of marine interior outfit projects from commercial handover through on-site execution to project close. You will work across functions to ensure tasks align with overall project goals and may lead smaller projects. The role requires hands-on understanding of marine environments, strong planning and stakeholder management, and a focus on safety and quality. You will travel internationally to support project delivery and surveys, delivering measurable results in complex, multi-discipline settings.
Responsibilities
- manage end-to-end delivery of marine interior outfit projects from handover to close
- lead smaller projects where appropriate
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements
- read and interpret blueprints, working drawings, and scopes of work
- use MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project) for planning and reporting
- enable effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving across stakeholders
- quantify material requirements using standard measuring/surveying tools
- adhere to health, safety and environmental standards
Key requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in the marine outfit industry
- experience across cruise, ferry, defence or superyacht sectors
- strong understanding of outfit planning and delivery onboard vessels
- experience managing large teams of tradespeople
- ability to read/interpret blueprints and scopes of work
- proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project)
