Overview
In this Cardiff-based role, you join a well-regarded national firm’s Insolvency team to handle a diverse caseload. You will work on administrations, business sales, bankruptcy estates and directors’ loan accounts, providing transactional, advisory and contentious support to a varied client base. You’ll collaborate across offices and may take on supervisory duties, supporting junior colleagues. A strong knowledge of the Insolvency Act 1986, Insolvency Rules 2016 and Companies Act 2006 is essential. The position offers hybrid working and meaningful client exposure that can shape the practice in a leading firm.

Responsibilities
- Manage administration appointments, business sales, bankruptcy estates and directors’ loan accounts
- Provide transactional, advisory and contentious insolvency support to a diverse client base
- Collaborate with colleagues across offices and contribute to team leadership
- Mentor and supervise junior colleagues as part of progression
- Engage in business development and client relationship activities
- Maintain strong knowledge of Insolvency Act 1986, Insolvency Rules 2016 and Companies Act 2006
Key requirements
- 5+ years PQE in insolvency
- Solid insolvency expertise
- Confidence in managing matters and mentoring juniors
- Proactive, client-focused approach
- Strong interpersonal, team-first attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with LPA Receivers would be beneficial
