Overview
As Quantity Surveyor – M&E, you will support the commercial management of mechanical and electrical projects. You’ll oversee procurement, valuations, change control and cost reporting, contributing to subcontractor accounts and final accounts. You’ll work with the commercial team to ensure accurate CVRs, forecasts and project close-out. This role offers exposure to diverse building services projects and opportunities for professional development within a supported team.

Responsibilities
- Manage subcontractor procurement and commercial evaluations
- Prepare valuations, payment applications and cost reports
- Identify, price and manage variations
- Complete measurements and take-offs from drawings
- Maintain CVRs, forecasts and commercial records
- Assess subcontractor applications and prepare payment recommendations
- Support contract administration and commercial correspondence
- Attend project and commercial meetings
- Assist with final accounts and project close-out
Key requirements
- Quantity surveying experience within construction
- M&E or specialist subcontractor experience beneficial
- Strong numerical and commercial skills
- Good knowledge of Excel and cost reporting
- Ability to manage multiple packages and deadlines
