Overview

As a Senior Engineer in our data centre team, you will deliver electrical design solutions and help shape technical strategies for high-profile projects. You will work within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment and translate client needs into robust electrical designs while mentoring junior engineers. Our DC101 programme supports a smooth transition into the data centre sector, backed by a track record of sector recognition. This role offers global project exposure and the opportunity to impact resilient, low-carbon data centre designs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver electrical design solutions including schematic diagrams, fault and discrimination studies, and layouts
  • Prepare technical specifications, schedules, calculations, project reports, and supporting documentation
  • Conduct site inspections and surveys to inform design development
  • Coordinate detailed electrical designs with other disciplines and stakeholders
  • Lead and support junior engineers and CAD technicians in design delivery and professional development
  • Contribute to project meetings providing electrical expertise
  • Support delivery of high-quality electrical design packages
  • Collaborate with regional and international offices on multi-disciplinary projects
  • Proactively resolve design and project challenges

Key requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related technical discipline
  • Consulting engineering experience
  • Willingness to transition into data centre sector via DC101 programme
  • Initiative, problem-solving ability, and collaborative mindset
  • Desire to work in a client-facing engineering role
  • Chartered status or working towards it is acceptable
