Principal Landscape Designer

Overview

As Principal Landscape Designer you will lead landscape design within a multidisciplinary Bristol practice, shaping diverse projects across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments. You’ll own design delivery, manage client interactions and contribute to project profitability in a hybrid working setup. You’ll collaborate across planners, architects and urban designers to deliver high-quality outputs on time. This is a stakeholder-facing role with opportunities to influence project strategy and growth.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and delivery of landscape projects at various stages
• Prepare high-quality drawings, visualisations and reports
• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team
• Attend client meetings and support project coordination
• Manage workload to meet project deadlines and fee targets

Key requirements

• Experience in a Landscape Design role within a consultancy environment
• Strong design and technical skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUp or similar
• Commercial awareness and ability to operate as a fee earner
