Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer

Overview

In this role you will commission a range of fire detection systems, including Advanced and Notifier, on large commercial and industrial sites across London and the South East. You will ensure compliance with BS 5839 and provide on-site technical expertise to deliver a professional service. The role supports high-value projects with a focus on quality and accuracy. Responsibilities

• Commission and validate fire alarm systems on-site, including Advanced and Notifier
• Provide on-site technical expertise and support for commissioning activities
• Ensure full BS 5839 compliance during installation and commissioning
• Contribute to professional service delivery on large installation projects
• Collaborate with project teams across commercial, industrial, and high-value sites

Key requirements

• Experience in the fire industry
• Strong working knowledge of BS 5839
