Overview
In this role you will support major development projects by assessing flood risk and designing drainage strategies. You will work with clients, planning authorities and design teams to deliver robust drainage solutions. Responsibilities
- Perform Flood Risk Assessments and develop drainage strategies
- Prepare and detail drainage scheme designs
- Liaise with clients, council officers and design team members
- Utilise InfoDrainage and/or MicroDrainage for modelling and analysis
- Apply AUTOCAD where required
- Stay updated on planning guidance such as NPPF and CIRIA SuDS guidance
Key requirements
- Experience in Flood Risk Assessment and drainage design
- Proficiency with InfoDrainage and/or MicroDrainage
- Bachelor or Master in Civil Engineering (or similar)
- Understanding of AUTOCAD
- Knowledge of NPPF and CIRIA SuDS
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Live in or near Bristol
- Strong communication with clients and stakeholders
