In this role you will lead discrete planning matters and directly advise clients from an established Bristol team within a top-tier practice. You’ll handle development consent orders, CPOs, and related matters, working alongside partners shaping national policy on infrastructure projects. You’ll gain early responsibility and cross-disciplinary exposure across energy, real estate and environmental work. Responsibilities
- Run own matters on a varied caseload (DCOs, planning agreements, CPOs, judicial review, strategic land advice)
- Work alongside recognised leaders to gain real client exposure
- Contribute to cross-disciplinary projects with energy, real estate and environmental teams
- Develop sector knowledge in renewables, nuclear, transport or farming sectors
- Provide pragmatic, risk-aware advice to clients and counsel
Key requirements
- 3+ PQE in planning law
