Senior Electrical Engineer – Water Sector

Overview

In this role you will lead electrical and EICA design across water infrastructure projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to move concepts through to construction. You will deliver practical, sustainable electrical solutions that support resilient water services and environmental performance. You’ll mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence, while contributing to large investment programmes and regulatory targets. Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical and EICA designs from feasibility through to detailed design and construction support
• Produce Single Line Diagrams, Block Cable Diagrams, Network Infrastructure Diagrams and technical specifications
• Develop electrical calculations, control philosophies and equipment schedules
• Support design reviews, HAZOPs and technical workshops
• Mentor graduate and junior engineers and contribute to technical excellence across the team

Key requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Experience delivering electrical or EICA design within the water sector or comparable infrastructure
• Experience producing electrical calculations, technical specifications and design documentation
• Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems and control philosophies
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams
