Senior Internal Auditor

Overview

In this role you will perform complex internal audits and help shape a progressive, risk-based internal audit function within the Group. You will report to the Head of Internal Audit and interact with stakeholders across the business. Based in Derbyshire, you will travel within the UK up to 10%. The position offers exposure to multiple departments and a clear path for development, with a visible role at the heart of the company. You must have UK work entitlement and relevant audit experience to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Carry out complex internal reviews/audits
• Assist in establishing a modern, risk-based internal audit function for the Group
• Engage with the Head of Internal Audit and stakeholders across the organisation
• Maintain office-based work setup with stakeholder exposure and limited travel
• Demonstrate ongoing willingness to develop the role and capabilities

Key requirements

• At least 3 years of audit experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Full entitlement to work in the UK and ability to work for a UK company
• Professional qualification (CIA, ACA, ACCA)
• Willingness to travel within the UK up to 10%
