Security Consultant

Overview

In this role you will shape secure designs for mission-critical systems within a growing technology consultancy serving national security programmes. You will work with customers and technical teams to ensure Secure by Design across the full lifecycle, contributing to secure, resilient architectures. You’ll produce architecture artifacts, lead security workshops, and translate requirements into robust security solutions. This is an opportunity to influence delivery on high-stakes projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary experts.

Responsibilities

• Design secure solutions across the full system lifecycle
• Produce security architecture documentation and technical designs
• Conduct security risk assessments
• Collaborate with customers to translate requirements into secure solutions
• Lead technical workshops with diverse stakeholders
• Support engineering teams to embed Secure by Design principles
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure, resilient systems

Key requirements

• Experience as a Security Architect or similar cyber security role
• Strong understanding of Secure by Design principles
• Experience producing security architecture and technical design documentation
• Experience conducting security risk assessments and communicating findings
• Experience across complex IT, cloud or engineering environments
• CISSP, CISM or equivalent certification
