Demand Planning Manager Commercial Area UK & Ireland 

Overview

In this role you drive the UK & Ireland demand planning function to enable reliable service, optimized inventory, and strong financial outcomes. You will lead and develop the local Demand Planning team while aligning with Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain across Europe. You’ll own the forecasting process, coordinate monthly reviews, and steer improvements in accuracy and planning maturity. The position offers impact through SAP IBP adoption, cross-functional collaboration, and European-scale process harmonization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the UK & Ireland Demand Planning team (4 direct reports) with a focus on accountability and continuous improvement
• Own the demand forecasting process and ensure accuracy and alignment with market intelligence, promotions, and launches
• Lead the monthly Demand Review, drive consensus forecasts, and manage forecast bias and service levels
• Build strong cross-functional relationships (Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Product Line, Supply Planning, Logistics) and act as the main contact for demand decisions in the region
• Support SAP IBP adoption and other planning tools, drive continuous improvement and harmonization of planning practices across Europe
• Champion governance and best practices in planning processes

Key requirements

• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, or a related field
• Proven experience in Demand Planning, S&OP, or Integrated Business Planning
• People leadership experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams
• Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies and demand planning processes
• Experience with SAP IBP Demand Planning or comparable systems
• Advanced analytical skills and strong business acumen
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
