Overview
InstaDeep seeks a Lead Security Architect to define and evolve a reference security architecture across IT, cloud, data, product, and AI/ML domains. You will lead security architecture strategy, shaping Zero Trust, IAM, and trust boundaries to scale securely in an AI-first, cloud-first, regulated environment. You’ll work with IT, Product, Legal, and Governance stakeholders to translate principles into practical, scalable patterns. This role offers impact across enterprise security, data protection, and AI/ML workflows, helping the company grow with resilience and trust.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the company’s reference security architecture across enterprise IT, cloud, data, and product environments
- Define architecture principles and patterns for Zero Trust, identity, authorization, trust boundaries, segmentation, and secure integration
- Set strategic direction for enterprise, cloud, and data security architecture
- Define target-state architecture for IAM, reverse proxy, secure access, and cloud-native controls
- Lead secure integration standards between IT and product environments
- Partner with IT Security Engineering on IAM, endpoint, VPN, reverse proxy, and access-tool integration
- Define security architecture for AI/ML workflows, data platforms, and ML pipelines; establish AI/ML trust-boundary models
- Shape data governance, ML pipeline trust boundaries, and model/data protection patterns
- Lead architecture review governance, threat modeling, and secure design reviews
- Translate architecture language for governance and business stakeholders; coach architects and engineers
Key requirements
- 5+ years in enterprise and cloud security architecture
- 5+ years in identity, access, and network trust design
- 3+ years facilitating threat modeling and secure design reviews
- Experience defining architecture standards and translating principles into practical patterns
- Experience across enterprise IT, cloud, infrastructure, and product environments
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders across technical and non-technical functions
