Overview
As an experienced Project Controls Professional in life sciences or data centres, you will establish baselines for cost and schedule, monitor performance, and manage risk, opportunities, and change in a controlled way. You will identify trends, evaluate time/cost/quality targets, and coordinate with remote cost managers to secure value for money. You will influence the contractor and act as client liaison, delivering clear reports on time, cost, and quality. You will lead planning, procurement, and change management processes, aligning master schedules with vendor inputs. This role sits at the heart of delivering technically complex projects for global clients at Turner & Townsend.
Responsibilities
- Establish baselines for cost and schedule and monitor performance against them
- Identify deviations and recommend remedial actions leveraging lead/lag indicators
- Coordinate with remote cost management team to ensure value for money
- Influence contractor progress to align with schedule and cash flow
- Prepare formal and ad hoc reports focusing on time, cost, and quality
- Lead change management processes and track approvals
- Develop and manage master project/programme schedule and critical path
- Coordinate procurement timing and vendor schedule requirements
- Incorporate risk and Monte Carlo outputs into cost and schedule planning
- Ensure timely schedule updates and adherence to process and quality standards
Key requirements
- Proven project controls coordination experience across lifecycle stages
- Ability to determine corrective actions from data and diverse sources
- Advanced MS Office and Primavera P6 skills
- Commitment to excellent service and reliable autonomous/team work
- Strong time management and deadline adherence
