Responsibilities

• lead design responsibility on electrical services projects
• contribute across the full project lifecycle from inception to completion
• collaborate in multi-disciplinary design teams
• apply design analysis and engineering software
• advise on budgets, schedules and client relationships
• support younger engineers and technicians
• utilise BIM environment where relevant (Revit)
• drive digital innovation and automated workflows

Key requirements

• Chartered Engineer status (IET or CIBSE)
• Degree in Electrical Services Engineering (ideally MSc)
• excellent design and technical skills
• experience leading design on projects
• strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• commercial awareness and ability to build external relationships
• commitment to professional development and challenging work
• passion for design, architecture and sustainable building design
• ability to operate in a BIM environment (Revit) is beneficial
