Overview
In this role you will oversee daily supply chain planning across materials, production, inventory, logistics, and demand to ensure continuity of supply and customer satisfaction. You will monitor supplier commitments, identify risks, and implement mitigation to prevent disruptions, while balancing constraints across sites to protect production schedules. You will optimize planning parameters and lead daily planning to resolve issues and improve service levels, collaborating with cross-functional teams on tactical improvements and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily supply chain operations across materials, production, inventory, logistics, demand planning, and order fulfilment
- Monitor supplier commitments and performance; identify risks and implement mitigation plans
- Balance constrained supply across multiple sites to protect production schedules and meet customer commitments
- Optimize planning parameters, master data, and system settings to improve forecast accuracy and visibility
- Leading daily planning activities to identify and resolve potential issues and implement preventive actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement short- and mid-term improvements
- Analyze supply chain KPIs and lead continuous improvement initiatives, including Six Sigma and process optimization
- Provide guidance to Supply Chain Planners and promote standardized processes and internal controls
Key requirements
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or supply chain planning environment
- Strong understanding of production constraints, supplier capabilities, inventory management, and supply-demand balancing
- Experience using ERP or advanced planning systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, APCC)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate insights into improvements
- Ability to manage complexity, prioritize demands, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
