Overview
In this Senior Engineering Manager role, you lead multiple squads within the Customer Growth pillar to turn business goals into technical outcomes. You partner with Product, Design, Data and Commercial to align delivery with impact, shaping how we present value and pricing to customers. You will drive architecture across web, backend and mobile domains and foster a culture of engineering excellence and operational reliability. This role offers a chance to influence growth initiatives like railcards and subscriptions, at scale, in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities
- Lead multiple squads and Engineering Managers, supporting career development
- Own end-to-end delivery across squads, ensuring on-time, high-quality execution
- Partner with Product, Design, Data and Commercial to align technical work with business outcomes
- Guide architecture across fullstack web, backend and mobile domains
- Bring coherence across railcards growth, retention, subscriptions and value exchange
- Champion engineering best practices and a culture of innovation
- Drive operational excellence with monitoring, alerting and incident management
