Overview

In this role you lead end-to-end project management commissions for energy and natural resources, including nuclear projects, ensuring delivery on time, cost and quality. You work within a supportive, cross-functional team to shape project governance, plans and risk management while collaborating with clients and stakeholders. The opportunity combines hands-on delivery with strategic advisory aspects in a global, inclusive environment. You will contribute to complex programs in a dynamic, client-focused culture.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic advice at project inception to align with client objectives
  • Define and maintain project requirements and success criteria
  • Establish project governance, processes and master plans
  • Manage resource planning, procurement and cross-functional team leadership
  • Monitor performance using KPIs and apply change control
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts and cost control
  • Interface with client, consultants and stakeholders throughout the project
  • Identify, monitor and mitigate project risks; prepare progress reports
  • Promote Health & Safety and Environmental considerations across the project
  • Plan and manage quality, safety, health and environment issues
  • Input into management and development of junior staff when applicable
  • Improve internal processes and knowledge management across projects

Key requirements

  • Degree qualified in relevant discipline
  • Working towards MCIOB / APM or similar
  • Proven experience managing HT&M projects, ideally in a consultancy environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • BPSS level security clearance capability
